Plasto

Plasto is a Finnish manufacturer of high quality plastic toys. 

All Plasto toys are produced in Finland (EU). Plasto toys are designed and manufactured to last, using safe recyclable raw materials. There are no phthalates, BisfenolA, lead, cadmium or other hazardous chemicals in the toys.

The 'I’m Green' products are manufactured of bioplastic. The bioplastic used is made from sugar cane, 100 % renewable. This contributes to reducing CO2 emissions and carbon footprint, since the sugar cane binds more carbon dioxide when growing than is emitted when producing the plastic raw material from it (-2,78 CO2 eq/kg). 

Plasto's offices and factory is heated with the warm water generated during production. They work at reducing electricity consumption both by investing in energy efficient machines and by investing in own solar energy production, with the aim to halve our energy consumption by year 2030.
